[Presentation] The Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Transforming AV Experiences
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is significantly transforming audiovisual (AV) experiences by enhancing personalization, interactivity, and efficiency. AI-powered systems can analyze user data to deliver tailored content, creating more engaging and relevant experiences. In the entertainment industry, AI enhances immersive experiences through real-time video and audio processing, enabling features like facial recognition for personalized media recommendations.
In corporate settings, AI-driven AV systems facilitate smart meetings by automating tasks such as adjusting lighting, sound, and video settings based on the participants’ preferences. AI also plays a crucial role in improving accessibility, with features like real-time language translation and automatic captioning, making AV content more inclusive.

[Presentation] Exploring the Challenges of Hybrid Meeting Rooms
The world of work has changed more in the last 5 years. Previously unimagined ways of working from home and working in the office. 80% of employees say that some form of hybrid working is their preferred work model. In-person meetings, however, have always been at the heart of a company. Employees don’t commute to compute. They come to the office to have more connection with colleagues, interactive meetings and brainstorming sessions. That’s why 55% of employees agree important presentations should still be given in-person. Office spaces should have solutions to better support distributed workforces and evolving work styles.
To support effective hybrid working, a meaningful workplace must have reliable technology and infrastructure in place. After all, 50% of employees worldwide say they are confused by different setups in different workspaces in their office and 65% periodically has issues connecting to the meeting room system. It’s clear that room setups can sometimes be too complex: that’s why investing in user-friendly and intuitive video conferencing solutions is paramount. Physical workspace should provide easy-to-use tools that seamlessly integrate with virtual platforms. This way, remote and on-site employees can connect, communicate, and collaborate effortlessly and seamlessly, enhancing their productivity and teamwork.

Explore the synergistic relationship between Audiovisual Technology (AV) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) as critical drivers in the rapidly evolving global business landscape. As industries worldwide face unprecedented challenges and opportunities, the fusion of AV and AI emerges as a transformative force, redefining creativity, communication, collaboration, and operational efficiency. The AV industry is uniquely positioned to harness the power and scale of AI, but ultimately success will depend on as much “unthinking” the past as it will embracing the future. [Presentation] Designing for India: Cultural Nuances and Immersive Storytelling
Explore the cultural context of storytelling in India and how it influences the design of immersive experiences. Discuss the importance of understanding cultural nuances, incorporating local traditions, and creating narratives that resonate with the Indian audience.
Amardeep Behl
AB Design Habit & Co. Pvt LtdHaving majored in Exhibition Design at the Department Of Visual Communication of The National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India, he founded the design firms, Oriole Design and later, his present firm, DesignHabit.
In his area of professional practice of over 30 years, for the first two decades his work was an exploration of bringing in the sense of the ‘narrative’ in spaces across diverse projects from museums to exhibitions, corporate exhibitions to production design for films, envisioning real estate themed development to the reuse of existing heritage sites. Over the last many years Amar has been specializing in his distinct version of Museum Design by creating narrative-led scenographic museums.
His pioneering vision in museum development is to not merely see the museum as a collection of artifacts and exhibits, but as an experience. Thus, the museum becomes ‘visitor centric’ as opposed to ‘artifact centric’, creating a trend.
Amar uses space as a medium to emote and provoke messages and meanings. Much like a storyteller who uses words in rhyme, prose and songs, he coheres various media, like architecture, graphic design, industrial design, photography, and audio-visual, into a common language brought together in space.

[Presentation] State of the Digital Signage Industry
- AI & Data
Digital Signage, Retail Tech and DooH in the age of AI brings many new forms of experiences but also challenges in managing data and keeping up with customer expectations. We will dive into what’s AI, how it enhances customer experiences and where it has its limits. - DooH & Retail Media
DooH and retail media are hot topics in the industry right now. While demand for advertising on linear TV is falling and is stagnating online and on mobile, DooH and retail media are booming. DooH benefits from unobstructed visibility in public spaces, while retail media benefits from attribution and real-time data at point of sale. - Cyber-Security
In an increasingly networked world, more gateways are opening up for cyber criminals and malware of all kinds. A big factor in the cyber vulnerability of companies is the use of third-party software – and digital signage falls into this category, especially as old silos are increasingly being replaced by modern software structures. - Green Signage
The digital signage industry is moving quickly to adapt to the growing demand for more sustainable solutions. With energy costs rising and carbon credits increasingly expensive, the industry is evolving in response to a myriad of economic and environmental pressures.

[Presentation] Software & Services Trends & Drivers
The new age of Software Defined Visual Solutions
Digital signage software is facing major upheaval. All major display manufacturers now offer agnostic software platforms – from Samsung’s VXT to Wave from PPDS. To make digital signage a B2B mass market, the industry must break out of the silo. Samsung is following its strategy with consistency, and VXT has the potential to become a game changer. By providing a complete ecosystem for digital signage along with an app store, it allows users to upgrade, update and enrich their solutions during their lifecycle – and opens up digital signage to other areas of AV.
Choosing the right software is mission impossible. The market is flooded with digital signage CMS solutions. Invidis will provide guidelines, explain how to select the fitting platform and what evaluate the best licence model. We will give insights into the globe’s Top 30 CMS solutions and how they excel.

[Presentation] Network Analysis – Packet Capture Using Wireshark
Wireshark is a free and open-source tool for inspecting packets as they pass through the network. It’s a great way to learn about network technologies, and an indispensable tool for anyone working with AV control systems. In this session we’ll take tour of the Wireshark software, look at a variety of use cases where packet analysis might be useful, and finally use Wireshark to observe what happens on the wire when we send a seemingly straightforward AV control message.
